ScryVault collects the account, listing, photo, eBay OAuth, seller settings, and diagnostic data needed to operate the private beta.

eBay refresh tokens are stored server-side and encrypted at rest. ScryVault uses those tokens only to perform actions you request, such as setup checks, publishing, updating, and listing-data sync.

Listing photos and generated content may be sent to AI providers for listing assistance. Current subprocessors include Vercel, Supabase, Anthropic, Google Gemini, and eBay.

What happens when you connect eBay

Connecting eBay does not make your ScryVault account, inventory, listings, or seller data public. It creates a private, revocable permission between your eBay account and ScryVault.

ScryVault never sees your eBay password. You log in on eBay's own authorization page, and eBay returns an access token. That token is stored encrypted on ScryVault's server.

The eBay permission screen lists the seller-account permissions ScryVault may use, including managing listings, reading orders, reading seller reports, and reading store policies or payout-fee information. ScryVault cannot see your bank account or card numbers, and it does not have access to your buying or browsing activity.

Other ScryVault beta users cannot see your account, listings, photos, inventory, or eBay connection. ScryVault enforces per-user isolation in the database so each signed-in user only sees their own workspace.

ScryVault's operator and hosting providers may have administrative access needed to run, support, secure, and debug the private beta, similar to other hosted apps. Token encryption helps protect against data leaks, but it is not a promise that the operator cannot administer the system.

You can revoke ScryVault's eBay access at any time from your eBay account settings under third-party app authorization. You can also disconnect or delete your ScryVault account from ScryVault settings.

You can request access, correction, export, disconnect, or deletion by emailing support@scryvault.app. You can also delete your ScryVault account from Settings. Deleting a ScryVault account removes ScryVault data and stored eBay connection tokens; it does not delete or end live eBay listings.
